I’ve Got a Crush on You by Rod Stewart and Diana Ross

Could you coo, could you care

For a cunning cottage, that we could share

The world will pardon my mush,

Cause I have got a crush, my baby, on you.

It’s Oh So Quiet by Bjork

Originally, a 1951 big band Broadway-style tune by Betty Hutton titled “Blow a Fuse”. Bjork changes the title to a more fitting “It’s Oh So Quiet”, and delivers a powerful, contradictory mix of delicacy and bombast, vocal. It is awesome.

Breezin’ by George Benson

Smooth jazz, with his guitar as poised and graceful as ever.

Wildcat by Ratatat

I personally love this guy’s music video: Wildcat by Ratatat Music Video.  Oh, and you can thank @nickfranklin for this song.

Intervention by Arcade Fire

Features one helluva church organ; one that doesn’t slowly meander hymnally, but powers through progressions.

Absolutely Cuckoo by The Magnetic Fields

I don’t think there is anyone out there who cannot relate to this song. Not everyone has fallen in love, but everyone has met that one person who at first you think is cool, then it turns out they are absolutely cuckoo.

Winterlong by The Smashing Pumpkins

Billy Corgan seriously has one of the best voices for acoustic songs. Well, I think he has one of the greatest vocals with whatever he sings, so that may be a slightly blinkered statement, but whatever. Go Pumpkins.
